ogimagegenerator.dev is built to need as little of your data as possible. There are no accounts, and we don't sell data.
What we process
- URLs you submit for AI design. We fetch the public page (through our scraping provider, Firecrawl) to read its text, metadata, branding and a screenshot. This content is sent to an AI model to design your image. Only submit pages that are publicly accessible and don't contain personal data.
- AI requests. AI designs run through Prometey (prometey.cc). Free designs use our account; if you connect Prometey, they run on your own account and the providers you chose there. Free AI tiers may log prompts or use them for training under those providers' terms.
- Designs and uploads. Your current design is stored in your browser's local storage, and images are rendered in your browser. Images you upload stay on your device unless you create a hosted link. Logos and screenshots from other sites are fetched through our server only so your browser can draw them, and aren't stored.
- Hosted image links. When you create a hosted link, the finished image (including anything you uploaded into it) is stored on our servers so the link keeps working. Anyone with the link can view the image.
- IP address. Used temporarily to count your free daily AI designs and prevent abuse.
- Analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors find and use the site: pages viewed, the referring site or campaign, approximate location and device, and actions like generating or downloading an image. Google Analytics sets cookies for this. It doesn't receive the URLs you submit or your designs.
Prometey connection
When you connect Prometey, an access token is stored in your browser and sent with your AI requests. You can disconnect at any time here or in your Prometey dashboard, which revokes the token.
